How should the website look?

The website should be visually pleasing and striking without it being overpowering, confusing and over the top. Most people prefer to look at pictures, which are accompanied by short passages of text, rather than being faced with lengthy passages of text. Images are definitely a powerful marketing tool in dentistry because you can show off the results of the treatments you offer. A before and after picture gallery will promote your practice in a much more effective way than writing about the results a treatment can produce.

Other considerations

When designing your website, try to ensure that the site is easy to navigate; it’s important to remember that not everyone is an internet wizard. Try to provide short, informative summaries and then include links to find out further information and use pictures to complement passages of text.
